I hate my internet
It drops for a few moments fairly regularly.

I'm almost certain it's comcast, but they claim it isn't. They state everything is peachy...and the problem is in the three routers I tried...or the wireless cards on all my devices.

Hmm, I wonder if comcast only tests the signal to your building, and maybe it's an outlet issue... they're still responsible for testing that and should get their fannies out there.

I use Qwest with no troubles. I've been using and liking them ever since it came out that they were pretty much the only telecomm that told the gov't to fsck off when asked for private telecomm data.

I've had that intermittent problem with Comcast for a while. The worst is when it happens during the work week, and every dropped signal means I have to reestablish my VPN connection.

If you plug a computer directly into the Comcast box and run a constant ping against someone, do you see the dropouts? If so, I'd take a day, work from home, and stay on the phone escalating until you get someone who knows what that data means.

The one time I had Comcast we had intermittent failures. It took 4 house calls, if I remember correctly, before we got someone who didn't just plug their line tester in, see that the line was up right that moment, then tell us everything was fine and maybe we should try rebooting the Comcast box if we saw it again. The last guy finally listened to us when we said "intermittent" and examined the lines from the house to the pole. Turns out there was a tree branch blowing up against a line farther up the street, severing our connection every time we had a windy day.

And I'll second the "Qwest is awesome" statement -- in a year and a half, I've had to reboot our modem once.
